Seems like everything is falling into place. I am amazed by the progress we are making with this project. We have more than 50 families signed up for interviews and more are being added each week. The states closest to me typically would go first since I can drive (Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa). After that I would love to be able to work out an arrangement with Southwest Airlines for travel. Luckily they fly to all but one city I need to visit. If you have ever flown Southwest, you know why I want to stick with them. They are so much easier to deal with and I have never had a bad experience. Can’t say that for some of the other airlines.
The first 3 interviews are scheduled, starting this Sunday. If the weather holds here in Chicago, we have 2 planned for Sunday. Michelle and Zoe (5) and Jessica and Elijah (3). I will post more on their stories later along with pictures.
Then next up is Tammy and Summer (3) in Maryland the week of October 13.
I shared the questions, checked the equipment and all seems good. I have my camera for still shots. Yet, what am I missing? I can’t wait to get started. Send positive thoughts for a sunny sunday (also the day of the Chicago Marathon…go runners!)
