I just found your blog by looking for support groups on google for Arthrogryposis. Our daughter, who is 10 and was in Ukraine until the age of nearly 8 years old, has AMC. After she came home, 4 months later, because of numerous unsuccessful surgeries on her feet, she had to have her feet amputated. The only information we had about her before we went to get her was a broken english sentence, "her joint don't work!" LOL
What did that mean? We found out later..... and it is all history.

She wears prosthetic legs now and is walking, knitting, and has all sorts of interests. She is happy and smart and beautiful.

Our family blog shows pictures of her and our other daughters too, (one with restrictive band syndrome) who also has a prosthetic leg and missing fingers.
you can find us at
www.minichfamilyblog.blogspot.com

My father in law also put together a video of her walking journey on youtube
It is called, "Erika's Walking Journey".

Oh, and we are de cluttering and getting organized too.....:)
